Essential Functions of the Job: Open boxes to remove DVT laundry bags, stacking on rack system and breaking down and recycling boxes Sort and count devices, placing plugs on connection tubes before washing and remove after washing to prevent
moisture from entering air inflation units Place compression sleeves and tourniquets into washing machines and washing to company standards Remove compression sleeves and tourniquets from washing machines when cycles are complete and loading them into bins to transport into the work area Place sleeves and tourniquets into appropriate drying machine and removing them once complete Use pressurized air to test air chambers in compression sleeves or tourniquets to ensure proper working order, marking and tagging as appropriate Use of lint roller to remove any residue or particles remaining after washing and drying of devices Folding, packaging, labeling and sealing the packages of compression sleeves
