Responsible for receiving material in our ERP system. Review and streamline the effectiveness of product delivery to our customers, and direct sales and service branches. Responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity. Work closely with existing warehouse team to order, stock, and deliver products as required.
Responsible for placement of PO’s for non-stock urgent materials, and work directly with the procurement team to help ensure the timely procurement of fire protection products in proper quantities according to marketing forecasts and field demand.
Work in conjunction with Inventory Sourcing Manager to conduct periodic and annual inventory cycle counts and reconciliation. Recharging portable Fire Extinguishers on site Transportation of portable fire equipment to vendors for service Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent work experience Knowledge of electronic purchasing and inventory control software Solid understanding of the principles and processes for Supply Chain Management
Good interpersonal skills & attention to detail Product knowledge of fire protection products Forklift certification or ability to obtain one Valid driver’s license Able to lift and move at least 50lbs Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd.
