The Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be the growth officer of our $8.6B business and the leader of all (B2B2C) marketing initiatives. This individual will be responsible for

the development and execution of the overall LPL Financial go-to-market strategy which is aimed at driving significant customer and revenue growth at profitable levels of return on investment that improve over time.

Key Responsibilities: Accountable for the business development go-to-market (GTM) strategy: Conduct customer research

and apply insights. Identify the trends of the market and direct the marketing insights efforts of the company Use marketing to position offerings to clients in a growth organization Drive demand: Leverage market trends, research, data and LPL product attributes into messaging to connect with prospects and our financial advisors Brand positioning: Bring the LPL Financial brand to life in a way that resonates across verticals through various segments.

Manage key partners. Strengthen existing relationships with key internal and external partners A well respected marketing leader with a track record driving growth and expanding share in competitive environments.

Proven track record of brand, online and mobile marketing expertise and current with the evolving role and tools of modern digital mrketing. Has led in multi-channel businesses, and how to evolve and innovate with existing channels. Experience in and understanding of the high-growth business models. Familiarity with customer life-cycle marketing -top of funnel through retention - and the technology that enables it •P&L savvy, operational excellence, data and metrics driven. Proven ability to balance short and long-term goals. Experience developing and leading a world class marketing function Lead the marketing function: Drive all aspects of marketing including, digital, social media, product marketing, content, and brand •Externally connected and customer-centric; well-connected in peer marketing communities.

Required Experience: 15-20+ years of marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of success Managed teams of 50+ and budgets of $50M Has worked in an agency or has experience working with agencies to run and develop campaigns 5+ years of executive level experience as the head of a marketing organization Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.

Demonstrated ability to think critically, make sound decisions, and solve complex problems. Demonstrated ability to lead through a transformation, planning through execution. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including third party marketing agencies and vendors. Strong business acumen and an understanding of the key drivers of business success. Proven track record of managing and developing a high-performing marketing team.
