To be successful as a Shift Supervisor, you should exercise effective management skills and take necessary disciplinary actions to address poor staff performance. Responsibilities Include: Overseeing multiple team members. Assisting restaurant managers with screening, interviewing, hiring, and training team members. Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained. Monitoring food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with
food health and safety regulations. Ensuring the interior and exterior of the restaurant are maintained and cleaned throughout the shift Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
Assisting managers with cash reconciling. Resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner. Ensuring showcases, displays, and paper products are properly stocked. Additional Info: Minimum Age: 18 years old Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills. Proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry.
