charts, graphs, tables, and other non-textual material for inclusion within documents Creating page layouts and placing textual and non-textual material Understanding the agency's mission and programs to determine appropriate writing and editing practices Reading agency reports and documents to integrate writing and editing style Reviewing draft materials and recommending revisions in scope, format, content, and publishing methods Researching topics and locating and contacting sources for document development Working closely with other writers/editors to enhance document readability, conciseness, and style Maintaining records and files of work and revisions Collaborating with DHS and USCIS immigration
