Remaining flexible to changing systems, this position is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice while treating patients, families, and all members of the healthcare team with respect and consideration.
Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the State of Minnesota.2+ years of nursing background with IV experience preferred.
Possess current CPR/BLS certification. Oncology nursing certification is desired; successful completion of current (or pending) active status of a Chemotherapy Infusion provider course. Possess knowledge of growth and development, specifically an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation process. An understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients of all ages in relation to growth and development processes to include all age groups.
Excellent customer service skill set required. Must hava a high level of emplathy and strong communication skills.
Knowledge of Windows-based computer systems required. Previous EMR experience helpful. Must be able to meet facility required physical job requirements.
