Technology Department (N411), part of the Collection and Tasking Division within the MITRE Intelligence Center, applies broad Defense, Intelligence, and Federal Law Enforcement expertise, and a deep understanding of operational tradecraft as well as our sponsors' intelligence collection challenges, to develop and advance innovative human and technical solutions which enable present and future multi-int collection management from tactical to enterprise levels, and to shape and grow the future MITRE intelligence workforce through intentional talent development.

Roles and Responsibilities: Software research and development supporting a classified sponsor in multiple related tasks. Work closely and collaboratively with government, other government contractors, and MITRE staff to develop solutions to advanced and challenging problems. Deliver technical advice and guidance on Sponsor software architecture and deliver software development in support of classified Do D and IC missions. Minimum Qualifications: Position requires current and active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph Ability/willingness to work full-time onsite in secure government workspaces Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related engineering discipline with minimum of 8 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and software development experience in: Node JS Python Java Demonstrated success in applying software development skills and knowledge of SW development methodologies in a collaborative team environment within highly complex computer networks/systems.
Experience with configuration management tools and containerized development approaches.
Experience developing interface modules, driver code, and using machine learning support modules. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline. 10 or more years of software development experience. Demonstrated proficiency implementing solutions using Docker, IDE, Bitbucket and/or similar/related software development collaboration tools. Familiarity/experience with software development for device command and control applications. Broad knowledge of Do D and intelligence community organizations and missions.
Recent experience/domain expertise working and collaborating closely with Do D and IC customers.
