Job Summary Raytheon CIS is looking for experienced Systems Administrators that possess a broad array of IT skill sets and professional experience.
The candidate selected for this position will be expected to: Design, implement and maintain Information Technology systems to support Raytheon CIS engineering teams and customer missions. Perform recurring IT support and system administration tasks such as software and hardware troubleshooting,
system hardening, vulnerability backssment, flaw remediation and general network administration across a variety of CIS managed computing systems. Coordinate IT operations activities between program personnel, leadership, the CIS engineering community and communicate status as appropriate.
Abide by and reference established baselines, processes and industry best practices in the execution of daily tasking and projects, and produce reference documentation that can be leveraged by other team members. Role Type This position is an onsite role. Basic Qualifications: Typically has a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of applicable experience developing technical IT solutions and supporting mission
networks, while demonstrating a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness.
Possess or be able to obtain a DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (ie. Security+ CE, CISSP, CND, etc. ). Established experience in collaborating with internal and external customers and developing technology roadmaps to solve critical pain points and achieve mission objectives. Strong understanding and background in Windows and Linux Systems Administration, network management, virtualization and implementation of technical security controls for RMF accredited network systems. Willingness and ability to adapt to evolving mission requirements and quickly expand technical skills, and develop the understanding to develop and deliver new capabilities.
Active and transferable U. S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date. U. S. citizenship is required, as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Desired Skills Proficient in system compliance and hardening (DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmark, etc. ) Proficient in scripting and automation capabilities (ex. Power Shell, Python, Ansible, etc. ) Proficient in audit collection and analysis using SIEM tools (Splunk, Elasticstack, etc. ) Proficient in vulnerability backssment and remediation tools (Nessus, Rapid7, Open VAS, etc.
) Familiarity with AWS EC2 cloud computing fundamentals.
