Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs. Utilize mechanic skills, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair
of packaging and production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test and adjust as necessary.
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Machine set-up experience is required. Perform all other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Previous industrial work experience is preferred. Ability to read rulers, micrometers (US and Metric), and digital metering equipment is preferred.
Experience working as a machine operator in a production environment, troubleshooting, and meeting schedule demands is highly preferred.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Computer experience is essential. Excellent work attendance is expected; overtime is required.
