Responsible for admitting employees and visitors to premises; filing reports; checking premises; delivering mail and packages. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Patrols premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. Monitor and authorize entrance of departure of employees, visitors and other persons to maintain security of premises. Assigns and tracks security premise cards for employees and visitors. Maintains
daily log, which includes activities and irregularities. Contacts police or fire department in event of an emergency.
Answer telephone calls, takes messages, answers questions and provides information as needed. Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering. Accepts deliveries for the corporate office and delivers to departments as needed. Monitors the Access Control System for all credit union locations. Assists with administration of badging system for credit union employees. Participates in available credit union self-development education programs and required compliance courses through self-study, CUES University, and the credit union's training department.
Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor. Assist with Municipal/Small Claims Court cases. Responsible for adhering to the service standards of the credit union. Qualification Requirements Educational/Training Requirement: High School Diploma or GED SORA certified preferred BLS / CPR certification preferred Experience: Prior experience managing facilities desired Licenses/Certifications: Valid, unexpired Driver's License with no major violations Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to analyze situations quickly and objectively, and to determine proper course of actions to be taken; Acute observations skills in order to detect suspicious behaviors and dangerous situations; Certified in administering First Aid preferred; Understanding of standard operating procedures; Ability to make independent, sound judgement decisions following policy and procedures within level of authority assigned; Ability to multitask; Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and remain calm and focused during potentially stressful situations.
