selling and solution selling in an effort to meet all territory forecast and growth objectives. Essential Responsibilities Establish a positive personal relationship with key buying influences at target accounts.
Makes sales presentations to customers demonstrating our capabilities. Establish and maintain Value Based Commercial Excellence (VBCE) account plans for the territory. Maintain an E-Quote Log on all open quotes in the territory. Communicate to Sales Management via a monthly report on competitor information, customer needs, market conditions, issues, successes and sales efforts. Be available for customer visits to the PRO Services center. Position Requirements Education: Bachelor's
degree and 5 years of related experience or combination of education & experience.
Experience: Mechanical aptitude and interest in mechanical equipment Training in assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting of pumps Proven experience selling industrial equipment in the Oil & Gas, chemical, power, or general industry markets is required Experience in selling repair of rotating equipment Familiarity with pump and pump hydraulics and selling aftermarket repairs is preferred Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience: Display high degree of independence and requires little guidance to meet objectives ITT operates through three Value Centers (operating segments): Motion Technologies (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of 4,700; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets; Industrial Process (Revenue of $1.0B; headcount of 2,800; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts; Connect and Control Technologies (Revenue of $0.6B; headcount of 2,700; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.
