Critical Data Centre equipment design including Air Handling Units, Computer Room Air Handling Units, Cooling towers, Chillers, Sequence of Operations, Control Systems, Fire Detection/Suppression systems, DRUPS, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary system.
Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases. Work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems. Travel to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers, as
well as provide engineering evaluations, mechanical systems audits, and start-up as needed. Provide and prepare all types of documents including statement of work, engineering reports, design documents, total cost of ownership analysis, drawing markup, budget, schedule, commissioning, design specification.
etc The ideal candidate should possess: Degree in Mechanical engineering or relevant discipline. 10 years of experience in HVAC design, mission critical design, construction and operation. In depth understanding of critical data centre mechanical and electrical equipment. Experience with fast-track design/build projects and or multiple significant upgrade projects. Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
