Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Completions Engineering students at Gulfstream Aerospace are considered to be an integral part of the Engineering staff, and as such, are provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.
Under guidance of the senior engineering staff, the students will be assigned to teams associated with ongoing production and R&D programs. Duties may include: Preparation and modification of engineering drawings and electrical wiring diagrams using
both manual and computer-aided systems such as Catia. Miscellaneous technical data generation and analysis-available tools include PC’s engineering workstations and a Convex supercomputer.
These tasks may involve writing new software or modifying existing code. Support of component and full-scale aircraft test activities. Interface with other internal organizations such as manufacturing, marketing, service, product support and purchasing as well as external customers and suppliers. Education and Experience Requirements: Currently enrolled student majoring in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering or related degree and having completed
the freshman year. Minimum GPA of 3.0 and graduate after August 2024.
