Locations will vary based on the project needs, and may include Houston, TX, Reston, VA, or various project sites. General Job Duties This internship position will allow you to work in multi-disciplinary teams to perform assignments that will develop professional working knowledge and abilities through application of applicable codes and standards, as well as engineering calculations and techniques, procedures, and criteria. You

will use limited, but increasing, judgement in performing your assigned duties using methods prescribed by your supervisor. Typical Activities of the Engineering Automation Team: Assists with setting up, installing, supporting, configuring, and implementing automation software tools Investigates and resolves problems and provides information about the software and systems to the users Customizes applications, prepares user guides and delivers training materials based on customer needs Develops work plans to accomplish assigned tasks within established budgets and schedules Basic Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a four-year program within Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant

Engineering and/or Information Technology (IT) degree, at an accredited college or university Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in the above field Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Preferred Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Master of Science degree program in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant Engineering and/or Information Technology (IT) degree, at an accredited college or university Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA Excellent written and oral communication skills Shaping tomorrow together Bechtel is one of the most respected global engineering, construction, and project management companies.
