Installing and configuring network resources on-prem such as Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco switches, SDWAN Configuring Azure network resources Developing and producing system architecture plans and designs, test plans, implementation plans,
operation guides, and offering overall subject matter expertise for enterprise network solutions. Utilizing available network troubleshooting tools, including network packet captures, monitoring devices, and log files to facilitate effective issue resolution.
Provide Tier 3 support for advanced troubleshooting of network or systems related issues. Define the network strategy, infrastructure, and system model to support further growth of the business. Undertaking both projects and steady-state activities. Occasional travel between sites for upgrades and installations. Perform other duties as assigned/required Education/Experience/Skills: Excellent knowledge of voice and data networking
principles 5+ years working within an Azure environment. Experience with Terraform, Azure CLI, Power Shell Azure Dev Ops deployment pipelines Manage Azure Network/Application Security Groups, in a highly segmented environment Azure Certification in related field desired Cisco switches and routers: 3K, 7K, 9K Catalyst series IOS, Nexus Ethernet technologies: spanning tree, vlans, trunking, channeling, multilayer switching WAN technologies IP routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, RIP, HSRP Juniper Routers Manage Palo Alto firewalls with Panorama Manage global Velocloud SD-WAN environment.
Manage Zscaler Cloud Security Gateway Load balancers - F5, KEMP, Net Scaler – recommended Proficiency in data security and vulnerability remediation - recommended Experience with security auditing techniques and intrusion detection - recommended Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to ‘do what it takes’ to deliver as needed Excellent interpersonal skills Exceptionally self-motivated and directed Keen attention to detail Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional service orientation BS in Management Information System, Computer Science or a comparable technical degree.
