Key Responsibilities: Automate existing manual work flows Work with Service owners to stand up services in new regions Deploy monthly service updates and apply patches as needed Work with service owners to create and meet meaningful SLIs/SLOs Work with service owners to continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and observability Participate in stand ups and cross-team projects Participate in on-call duties (1-2 weeks per month)
Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer working with a distributed global team Expertise with both ansible and terraform in medium sized (1000k+ endpoints) production environments Expertise using git (Git Lab) and Git Ops (pipelines) to implement as Code Expertise managing workloads on kubernetes with helm charts (Argo CD is a plus) Expertise in shell scripting on Linux hosts (bash, python) Proficiency creating dashboards in Grafana (or similar) to visualize SLIs/SLOs Proficiency configuring metrics exporters like collectd, statsd, telegraf Proficiency with Linux operating systems (Cent OS, Ubuntu) Desired skill with following technologies: java, python, My SQL, Rabbit
