Requisition ID: 71190 Summary The Broadcast team, as part of Skyworks’ Mixed Signal Solutions group, develops ICs used in automotive infotainment applications including RF receivers and baseband demodulators. We are looking for a Summer Intern 2024 to join the the Broadcast Applications

team. This team is responsible for providing engineering support for next-generation analog and digital automotive radio. We work closely with world-wide customers and various internal teams such as IC design, firmware and DSP design, test, marketing, and quality to ensure our products are well understood and designed-in successfully.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with exceptional communication skills who is comfortable explaining technical concepts to a wide range of audiences. The Applications Team utilizes a wide range of EE skills – RF, Analog & Mixed-Signal, Digital, Circuit Design, DSP, Embedded Systems, PCB design and test. Engineers in this position will become

familiar with Automotive testing standards, broadband PCB signal integrity for RF/High Frequency, general analog and digital circuit analysis in time/frequency domains, along with gaining experience in operating lab equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers and audio analyzers.

Responsibilities Design, debug and document evaluation circuit boards Validate technical details of IC use cases Debug, test, document and share results of circuits and algorithms RF, Analog, Digital and Audio testing Qualification & Education Requirements Current student pursuing undergraduate or master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering Course work in communications, signals and systems, analog circuits Experienced in programming and scripting Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Open to learn new skills Preferred Skills RF/Mixed Signal circuits knowledge (Filter, LNA, Mixer, Receiver, PLL, AGC, ADC, DAC) DSP coursework (FFT, IIR & FIR filters) Programming languages (Python, TCL, C, C++, other) Embedded software experience The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.

S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U. S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour.

Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U. S.
