Get To Know The Team: The Risk and Compliance Intelligence (RCI) Solutions Consultant is responsible for working with our Wealth and Investment Technology (WIT) clients and prospects to understand their unique needs and to recommend specific solutions from RCI that will help them achieve their goals.
The Solutions Consultant will work with the sales organization during all stages of the sales cycle including pre-sale and during the implementation process. The consultant will also work with existing clients helping them optimize the value they receive from a relationship with SS&C through understanding their evolving needs
and highlighting new RCI capabilities. The successful candidate can expect to work with client's property engineering programs and has HPR property engineering experience with knowledge of both NFPA and Factory Mutual standards and has an understanding of the many property risks posed by fire, earthquake, flood, and other Natural Catastrophes.
They will assist in making recommendations to the clients which will reduce the Total Cost of Risk (TCOR) of the client's property portfolio. Wrok Style: Remote Responsibilities: Act as a project manager for a large global hospitality client with tasks including, coordination of services, monitoring of work completion, quality control, recommendation response,
resource allocation, supporting the annual insurance renewal, etc. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and their facilities in the areas of fire protection, fire alarm, code consulting, and general loss prevention.
Coordinate surveys of client facilities for fire, Nat Cat, and other property loss potential. Develop loss expectancies for recommendations and MFL, PML & NLE. Consult with clients on ways to control hazards in order to reduce or prevent losses. Assist clients in determining recommendations to prioritize. Resolve technical fire protection issues using the application of Client Standards, NFPA, FM Global or other best practices. Support construction and new facility
projects to ensure necessary fire protection standards are met.
Assist in revising/developing internal standards related to fire protection, risk reduction, and life safety. Requirements: 5-7+ years minimum experience in a consulting role with an HPR Property Insurance Company, or a 3rd party engineering consultancy Strong property risk experience a plus Technically proficient in understanding, interpreting, and applying standards such as NFPA, FM Global or clients own; and, evaluating fire protection systems (automatic sprinklers, special extinguishing systems, etc. ) Ideal candidate is self-sufficient, organized, and has good written and oral communication skills Must be physical fit and able to climb ladders and stairs and transition to and from ladders or stairs in order to access building roof areas and upper or lower floors within a customer site during surveys.
Travel more than 50 miles from the office is expected 50% of the time. Ability to work from home Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience and professional designations. Education: B.
