of use cases. This position not only assists in product/solution development, but also provides advisory/SETA support to our customers and customer groups in implementing blockchain solutions. While software development activities can be performed remotely, due to its critical nature in helping shape next generation solutions and investments, this position is a hybrid position and expected to work out of our offices in Reston, VA or Chantilly, VA for one-two days a week.

The Blockchain Software Engineer is part of a team of high-performing Dev Sec Ops teams within OCTO, whose focus is on delivering modern cloud, Dev Sec Ops, Data Ops, and MLOps solutions to its customers in Federal Civilian,

Do D, and National Security Sectors. Responsibilities: Leads key blockchain initiatives, including end to end designing and deploying of blockchain products and solutions Effectively communicate between developers, managers, and end users Create a repository/library of blockchain engineering capabilities Experiment with cloud native, open-source tools and advise on new tools in order to determine optimal solution given the requirements dictated by the use case Develop and implement design patterns to leverage cloud-computing resources to deploy/ optimize blockchain solutions Develop and implement Dev Ops in AWS, Azure, and GCP to enable near-real time delivery of data analytics to end consumers

Use advanced programming skills in Solidity, Go Lang, Java, Node.

JS, or any of the major languages to build software solutions/services, including robust DApps, UX, and Solidity Smart Contracts Write complex Smart Contracts to automate the processes in the workflow in a decentralized environment Develop frameworks, standards & reference material for design and associated products Act as a mentor to junior team members to provide technical advice, apply systems and products to consult and advise on additional efforts across multiple domains spanning broader product development Collaborate with cloud engineering and data science teams to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into highly available, production systems Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must be a US Citizen and possess an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with poly clearance on the job Bachelor's degree in engineering and nine years or more in related experience.

Master's degree in engineering and seven years or more in related experience. In lieu of a degree, four additional years of related experience will be considered. Five or more years of experience as a Computer Programmer, Application Developer Minimum of two years of experience related to Dev Ops At least four years’ experience working with cloud-based solutions, various open-source based frameworks, analytic tools and recognizing their weaknesses REQUIRED SKILLS: Two or more years of experience developing blockchain applications Two years of experience operating in an agile environment Hands-on experience working on platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, and/or R3 Corda Strong knowledge and experience working with different cloud native Paa S solutions in AWS, Azure, and GCP OR Experience deploying the blockchains on Kubernetes Platforms Strong experience with Decentralized Applications Proficiency in one or more of the languages: Solidity, Go, Java, Node.

JS Hands-on experience working on any one of the cloud environments and Automation: AWS, Azure, GCP Hands on Automation tools experience using any one of the following: Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD Must also have experience working with any one of the following: Bash shell scripts and ARM templates Amazon Cloud Formation Terraform DESIRED SKILLS: Experience with a variety of Database technologies: RDBMS, No SQL, Search, Data Lakes, Time Series, and Distributed Ledgers etc.
