The Sustaining Project Engineer will work alongside technology, product development and manufacturing/quality engineers to ensure successful production release. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with senior leadership, cross functional team members (Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Quality) as well as external suppliers. (Domestic and offshore). Work in cross-functional teams comprised of Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Business Unit resources to support the planning

and implementation of sustaining engineering projects and activities and to translate design requirements into component, subsystem and product specifications Understand product/component function, reliability and quality requirements Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Field Quality and Reliability to ensure sustaining and/or cost improvement initiatives meet all design reliability requirements Complete tasks to meet design and project objectives Responsible for several small to medium scale sustaining projects concurrently, with the ability to handle small projects from start to completion and assist with larger projects Will facilitate sustaining engineering projects with focus supporting qualification activities, determining impacts to design specifications, and project schedule effectiveness.

Apply knowledge of Mechanical engineering to real world scenarios and applications Provide technical support to team members and other cross-functional groups Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements Report to supervision, conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards Attend scheduled EH&S training events Actively support the organization's efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plan Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree1+ years of experience with Mechanical Engineering principles Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree Familiarity with the product design and components used in HVAC products (furnaces, fan coils, coils, ACs, heat pumps)Self-starter with ability to learn quickly, good communication skills and team working experience Experience working in a team environment with cross functional support groups (Supplier Quality, Field Quality, Marketing, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Agency)Understanding of Industry-wide accepted system engineering toolinteractionpert level skills with Microsoft; Word, Excel, Project and Power Point Organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities Understands the fundamentals of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics, systems & controls engineering fundamentals Understanding of model-based design processes Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with diverse audiences including cross functional team members, senior leaders, global suppliers, and external customers including service managers and technicians PDN-9ad7bfe0-8ef1-47ea-83d0-8ce54ab8fc87
