We have an immediate need for an experienced, self-motivated Plumbing Trainer who will be stationed at Bell Bros. based in Mather, California and will support multiple Brands/locations across our
portfolio of companies. The Plumbing Trainer is responsible for conducting training programs using our curriculum for our new trainees and certified installers. They will work daily with our employees to advance their technical abilities, to round out their communication skills, and to teach them the fundamentals of Plumbing Service Calls.
The Plumbing Trainer will use their background and field experience to demonstrate how our trainees are to safely perform their service call, as well as handle all client interaction to maximize the customer service experience we provide. This is an Exempt level position reporting to the Training Manager. The Plumbing Trainer can expect to Travel 25-50%
of their time to multiple centers for specialized training. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As the training area is one of constant change, the ideal candidate must be able to react positively and help lead the way forward to include new developments in training targeted to both new and existing employees.
Follow our existing training program and help develop and continue to improve our curriculum. Coordinate and perform ride-along training. Perform weekly evaluations of trainees in conjunction with other trainers to test the effectiveness of training. Moderate and administer " hands-on" technical training. Identify trainee technical/communication weaknesses and provide support and solutions; hold trainees to a high level of accountability.

Assist employees with problems concerning " how to" perform specific tasks related to their job description. Make suggestions on improving work procedures. Run client service calls in the field as required. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS 3- 5 years of experience in residential or commercial plumbing service and repair. Previous teaching or trainer experience preferred but not mandatory. Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
