Develop testing validation, management and deployment of Data Science applications and AI/ML models. Support the customers use of AI/ML with data analytics on new customer projects (i. e. pattern of Life, anomaly detection, or predictive maintenance analytics) Develop logical and conceptual data models with a methodology. Create UML / Sys ML diagrams to support physical models and exchange formats. Develop domain logical data model artifacts: Logical Data Models, Data Element Dictionaries, Physical Data Models, Interface Control Documents (ICD), data format specifications, model release documentation, user guides, data harmonization and mappings.
Produce data models and data mappings to support mission requirements by creating new formats and mapping data in legacy formats and data stores to modern formats and enterprise data stores, including formats within the enterprise microformat set. Define and analyze data requirements, create new data structures / microformats and perform architectural alignment with the ELDM and other enterprise formats. Model business and mission concepts, including their definitions, properties, and relationships.
Define and analyze data requirements, map legacy data stores and data formats to ASDF and customer domain PDMs. Develop data models thru collaboration with data modelers within the organization and from other organizations. Perform model alignment with domain and mission models with each other and with the enterprise models. Perform model validation with requirements and stakeholder input thru meetings, and technical peer reviews with subject matter experts. Support the high-level application of data standards across the enterprise by leveraging broad knowledge including IT, requirements, technical architecture analysis (e.
g. understanding data flow diagrams, system architecture diagrams, etc. ) and an understanding of functional and system analysis. Perform requirements and impact analysis to understand the data elements in their domains, relationships among those elements and model interdependencies leveraging technical reviews with SMEs and stakeholders. Provide support and related services to the implementation of enterprise data representations in various mission domains. Maintain an awareness of commercial data standards and community data standardization activities.
Perform End-to-End systems engineering for data flows from the perspective of data format modeling, implementation, and support. Integrate national and tactical data architectures into enterprise data representations (or formats) that can produce outputs to support multiple system architectures. This includes systems and data architecture and integration, data modeling, and data mapping in direct support of enterprise technology leadership. Research new protocols and technologies and apply them to the Atomic SIGINT Data Format (ASDF) and microformat creation and mapping efforts.
Provide expertise in data modeling and data harmonization (the improvement of data quality and utilization using machine learning to look at data characteristics and data utilization) to transform or suggest subsequent data quality improvements resulting in new high quality data models and formats. Use data modeling tools to support generating customer data models. You’ll Bring These Qualifications: Twenty (20) years of experience in data or systems engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in technical field or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Experience with CASE tools for database model development to include either proprietary tools (ERWIN, ER-Studio, Power Designer) or FOSS tools (Argo UML). Extensive working knowledge and practical use of data modeling and mapping techniques. Experience with customer legacy data formats. Knowledge and use of ASDF. In addition. Working knowledge with UML and XML technologies (CSDs and schemas, and XML generation), ontologies, and semantics. Understanding of the customers data labeling tagging, tagging tools and methods These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Knowledge and use of BLOODYMARY, TSDF and/or ASDF data formats Knowledge of Corporate architecture and tools to include the Event Warehouse, Content Warehouse, PRESSUREWAVE, Data Xplorer, and those in development.
