Your Main Objective: Advise customers in defining information systems security requirements and functionality by designing system architecture, developing security designs, and backssing the effectiveness of security solutions.
Employ systems engineering principles and processes along with knowledge of customer’s “problem space” and available products and practices. Advise customers on implementing solutions by planning, training and installing/configuring. Produce formal and informal reports, briefings, and direct input to the customer regarding security and functional requirements. What Sets You Apart: Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience, or Doctoral degree plus 4-years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or an Associate’s degree plus 10-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12-years of relevant experience may be considered.
Degree must be in Computer Science or related field (e. g. General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Information Security, and Information Systems). Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development.
In addition, may include programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and/or system administration. Experience as an ISSO/ISSE with emphasis on Defense-in-Depth principles, network and enterprise security architecture Familiarity with STE/STN requirements Extensive knowledge of the NSA Certification and Accreditation requirements, process, and tools; IT Governance Process; Acquisition Security Processes; demonstrated understanding of various IT Architectures, software applications, and operating systems Experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53 including the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) TS/SCI clearance with polygraph You Might Also Have: Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information Experience in IA/ISSE, Defense-in-Depth Principles and technology including access control, authorization, identification and authentication PKI, Network Security Architecture Ability to work effectively in a team environment with other highly skilled individuals Excellent written and oral communication skills Familiarity with Agency legal and policy regulations At Leidos, the opportunities are boundless.
