architecture design, planning, management, support, and oversight of the Cloud One GCP environments. This team proactively maintains the existing GCP architecture and adding additional instantiations for migrating Air Force mission and non-mission applications.
This work supports the Cloud One program under the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center Office for Network Integration (AFLCMC/HNI). Cloud One is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, and hybrid contract serving the U. S. Air Force (USAF) and other Government Customers. The position is 100% remote. Job Responsibilities: Design GCP environments and topologies and modify GCP services and common services as specified by
design Guide and contribute to Sprint Planning efforts and reviews Provide GCP security and monitoring solutions implementation, including automated responses Maximize efficient use of tools and automation (scripting – Terraform, ARM templates) Configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual infrastructure, and software systems Proactively identify and resolve operational, tooling, and process inefficiencies Develop and maintain project and design documentation, as required Update Knowledge Base and Standard Operating Procedures, as required Maintain regular contact with customers, project leads and program leadership during project and responding promptly to requests Provide technical assistance and
training to users Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree; Additional years of experience in lieu of degree accepted Five (5) year's experience required Required Clearance and Certifications: Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain a Secret clearance required to maintain employment US citizenship required Security + or equivalent Required Skills: At least Three (3) years of development and/or engineering experience in an GCP, AWS, Azure, or OCI cloud environment Demonstrated experience with automation tools including Ansible and Terraform Demonstrated experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes Demonstrated experience with some or all of the following: Networking Jenkins Jira/Confluence Artifactory Guacamole Knowledge and experience working with Dev Sec Ops tools Experience creating, delegating and prioritizing tickets within an IT ticketing system such as Service Now or Jira Experience preparing technical documentation Experience using Microsoft Office, including Visio Experience working in a team environment Desired Skills: Documented experience in implementing Google Cloud Platform Zero trust architectures AF Cloud One Platform One development, engineering, operations and sustainment Understanding of and experience as a cloud engineer with VPNs, Iaa S, Paa S, storage, Active Directory, F5, Barracuda Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000.
