About the job We seek a highly experienced Senior Service Now CSDM/CMDB Architect to play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data architecture within the Service Now platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Service Now data modeling and processes of different products in Service Now, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and IRM, with a proven track record of successfully architecting and optimizing data solutions.

As a Senior Service Now CSDM/CMDB Architect you will: CSDM & CMDB Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the CSDM and CMDB in alignment with organizational

goals. Data Modeling: Define and maintain data models, classes, and attributes within Service Now, including relationships, dependencies, and categorization, to support accurate representation of configuration items (CIs).

Data Architecture: Design and implement data architecture strategies that ensure data consistency, quality, and security and support the scalability and future growth of the Service Now platform. Data Integration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate data from various sources into Service Now, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business needs. Optimization and Performance Tuning: Continuously analyze and optimize

data architecture to improve system performance, scalability, and efficiency, working to stay ahead of potential bottlenecks.

Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures for CMDB and CSDM, including data quality, integrity, and consistency. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, schemas, and architecture standards, facilitating knowledge sharing within the organization. Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to other data architects and Service Now developers, fostering their professional growth. Collaboration and Requirement Analysis: Collaborate closely with IT teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to thoroughly understand data requirements, translating them into effective data solutions.

Performance Monitoring and Issue Resolution: Continuously monitor data architecture performance, proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure the reliability and availability of data services. Required Qualifications US Citizen required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or relative work experience. Proven experience as a Service Now Data Architect or similar role, with at least 8 years of experience.

Strong knowledge of various Service Now products and processes. Excellent understanding of Service Now CMDB and CSDM framework Expertise in data modeling, database design, and SQL. Hands-on experience with Service Now Data Archiving and Restore Processes Proficiency in Service Now's data management features. Experience with data integration tools and technologies. Good understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
