Key Responsibilities: Fill customer orders by operating a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck in a fast paced environment. Operates equipment to move product in an efficient and safe manner.Uses an RF scanner gun to determine the proper products to be moved, gathered, or distributed for completing customer orders.Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves or conveyor belts based on the necessary route
for either the packing station or shipping department. Assist Receiving Department with unloading new arrival merchandise from trucks when needed. Assist inventory and returns department with day to day operation.
Assemble component parts to build various types of lockers and cabinets. Utilize various manual, air and electrical hand tools in an efficient and safe manner. Performs other related duties as assigned. Competencies and skills: Previous experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker required. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. : Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Warehouse environment required.Minimum of 1 year experience with material handling equipment
required.Previous experience utilizing an RF Scanner required. Must be proficient in reading and interpreting assembly instructions and drawings to facilitate the assembly process.
Independently able to life products weighing up to 75 lbs on a continuous basis in a productive environment. AREA/COLD ENVIRONMENT General Info: The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for performing one or more of the warehouse functions such as picking, packing, checking, shipping, stocking, and receiving.
They will also ensure the customer receives the right product in a timely fashion; building trust and confidence with the customer that their orders are always handled accurately and professionally.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: โข Pick items with Radio Frequency (RF) device or pick ticket quickly and accurately. โข Ensure items picked are correct, verifying unit of measure, size, and quantity. โข Quality-check (QC) and pack customer orders with care and in an efficient / productive
manner. โข Meet all required shipping deadlines. โข Receive and check incoming freight and accurately identify any discrepancies. โข Stock and rotate inventory accurately.
โข Comply with all applicable federal and state laws. โข Replenish supplies as needed. โข Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.โข Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations pertaining to the operation. โข Must be able to work overtime when necessary. โข Perform related duties as assigned EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent is desired. Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience. Previous warehouse/distribution experience
is preferred. MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull orders from various shelf heights; and ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally is required.
Must be able to read and understand English, have number recognition skills, and good hand/eye coordination. Exhibit a sense of urgency to ensure all deadlines are met. Computer knowledge is desirable.
