Familiar and able to apply sample plan tables. Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard and/or AS9100. Calibrate equipment. Demonstrate knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and processes that can hinder or create specific concerns for operations such as blanking, forming, stamping, welding, turning and/or machining. Initiates findings and/or confirms discrepant material, implements methods for disposition for both root cause and corrective action. Supports
manufacturing personnel engaged in measuring and testing of products.
Determines and develops quality plans for manufacturing, may assist quality technicians by setting direct reading and/or adjustable gauges and test sets. Qualifications: All individuals seeking an opportunity to become a Quality Engineer must take the quality examination and perform to a minimum level of 80% satisfaction to be considered for a level of fully qualified or higher. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience of five years in a manufacturing engineering role within (your industry/field).
