This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, You Tube content optimization, and analytics while contributing to the growth and success of Tennant’s online
presence. The Marketing Operations intern will support the Global Marketing Operations team on various projects, primarily focusing on Tennant’s You Tube channel and website analytics, while also learning about the variety of projects and tasks within the MOPs team such as email marketing, graphic design, content marketing, social media marketing and website management.
The intern will have the chance to work closely with our experienced marketing team and understand how a corporate Marketing Operations team works cross-functionally and collaboratively with colleagues and global stakeholders. At the conclusion of the internship, the intern will report out to leadership on their projects,
insights, and expected impact of their work on the organization.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Support Tennant’s You Tube strategy execution, which includes video optimization, SEO research, video description writing, and channel organization Develop You Tube reporting process utilizing key performance metrics in You Tube Studio Project management and ownership of assigned activities Provide support and assistance to broader MOPs team as assigned Analyze web traffic, user behavior and conversion data to highlight impact of marketing efforts Communicate findings and insights through clear and concise reports and presentations REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: Two-or four-year college enrolled entering Senior year (or equivalent status) Digital Marketing, Digital Analytics, Digital Marketing Technology, or Marketing Communications major or program Strong interest in digital marketing, analytics, and content marketing Knowledge of You Tube platform and analytics tools (e.
g. You Tube Studio) Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and formulas or website analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL & BEHAVIORAL SKILLS: In addition to the general responsibilities, the following are requisite interpersonal and behavioral skills of the position: Demonstrated ability to work independently Adhere to timelines and project goals through prioritization and communication Organizational skills and accountability Ability to problem-solve Consistent attendance either onsite or remotely as needed Ability to take direction and accept supervision Begin your journey with us.
