customers by providing product information, consultation and assistance in selecting the appropriate kitchen & bath products to meet the showroom customer's needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Greet & Assist Showroom Customers by identifying product needs, style requirements & desires.
Deliver exceptional customer service to all showroom customers (designers, homeowners & plumbers) in the process of kitchen & bath product selection. Respond to customer inquiries either in person or via phone call on pricing, inventory and availability in a timely manner. Prepare quotes as needed for products & projects. Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns
in Prophet 21. Track & follow up on quotes, sales orders and scheduled shipment dates to ensure customer's expectations are met or exceeded. Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge in order to promote a professional image in the field.
Work with the team to display products and merchandise in a pleasing and attractive manner. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Knowledge of Kitchen & Bath Showroom Products is highly desirable. 1-2 years of experience in a retail and/or customer service environment, passion for home design is highly desirable. Self-motivated, organized and able to problem solve when unexpected situations arise with customers, vendors or co-workers.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task with sharp attention to detail.
Excellent Customer Service Skills demonstrated as listening, communicating clearly, patience, diplomacy, asking questions, finding answers and making appropriate recommendations. Strong Math Skills for calculating measurements for home plans and for calculating product pricing.
