Utilize the parts order receiving process established to assure proper check in procedure. All air freight orders will have top priority. These orders must be checked in first and the parts person
notified that their order has arrived. Air freight charges will be administered by this position to the back order slip. Emergency orders will be the next priority.
Freight charges will also be determined and administered to the back order slip. The parts person must be notified of receipt of the order. Stock order must be check in and binned in a timely manner. All parts must be placed in their proper location. Service parts counter person must be notified of all incoming orders for the service department. All discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the warehouse supervisor. These discrepancies would include receiving the wrong part, receiving damaged parts, wrong quantities,
wrong bin locations and inaccurate count. All orders shipped must be logged through the shipping manifest system.
All orders shipped will have the proper freight charges included on the invoice. Orders will be packaged so as to eliminate potential damage to the part during shipping. Provides high level of service to internal and external customers. Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention. Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up. Participates in all training programs that are made available. Keeps current on new products and product updates. Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
